Maxillo-facial surgery includes a wide range of procedures for the face, jaws, and mouth, ranging from corrective jaw surgery to facial trauma repair and oral cancer treatment. Reparative maxillo-facial surgical operations listed below performed by specialized maxillo-facial surgeons are reimbursed by UNSMIS with the prior authorization of the Medical Adviser: cranio-facial malformation, facial fissures, orthognathic surgery, bone grafts, temporo-mandibular articulation.
